Why Warriors? It is because of my former name of my team, Ultimate Warriors. We have a privilege to have a common rest days because we were awarded as Best Team for the month of March and April 2009. We were very excited since my team will heading to Bicol Region since one of the team members invited us to visit her hometown and treated us with warm hospitality. It is our first time that I together with the team on board a plane for our bonding. Unlike before, we only took land transportation in order to reach the destination.

We supposed to take a bus ride from Manila to Legazpi but it will took 9-10 hours. Good thing, there was a air promo fare for Philippine Airlines  (http://www.philippineairlines.com) and Cebu Pacific (http://www.cebupacificair.com). We decided to take 2 airlines. For the Manila-Legazpi, via PAL and Legazpi-Manila, via Cebu Pacific. We booked these flights last April 2009 for our team bonding on June 2009.

And how much was the fare? PHP800 round-trip all-in!! That's a huge savings. Bus fare costs PHP1300-1500. During that time, Mommy Eva Guinto, our host for our trip went home first so that she fixed on our itineraries in Bicol.

Tip: If you want to book a flight, book as early as possible. There were many promo fares and make sure you check it detail by detail. From Web fees, baggage allowance to taxes and other subsidies. Just check the airline's website and you will see plenty and diverse of promos. If not, subscribe to a newsletter and you will be informed. I prefer the latter since they will announce ahead of time before they will post it on their website or to social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.

By June 14, we met at the office in order to be at the NAIA Terminal 2 by 3:30AM since our flight was at 6:30AM. We rode a taxi and arrived at the airport 30 minutes later.

Welcome to Legazpi City!

Mommy Eva fetched us at the airport and we rode a rented jeepney bound to her house near the airport. We took our breakfast, rest for a while and we started roaming around the province.
